I am interested in purchasing a E1705 as a desktop replacement.

What I need to know is, with the 7900 GS card, can you hook up a monitor to the DVI port and the standard VGA port at the same time? I realise the laptop monitor will be off at this point.

Also, in respect to gaming, my current desktop will play games poorly on the secondary monitor (6600gt). Does the 7800 GS allow the DVI port to be the primary video card and run properly while the vga port also has a monitor on it?

Presently I have a 20" LCD widescreen and a 18" LCD, I would like to hook up the 20" to the DVI port and the 18" to the VGA port.
