The review here lists the E1705 with a ExpressCard slot, but Dell's E1705 TV tuner is a PC card. What does the E1705 have??

    Darren in Bakersfield

It is a Express slot. Not a PC card slot. :)

the e1705 is express slot, 1 ExpressCard 54 slot to be exact. The dell tv tuner should be a usb tuner.

Edit: "Mobile Broadband System uses ExpressCard slots not PC Card slots. PC Cards including mobile broadband cards will not work with this system. Anticipated ExpressCard availability is late 2006." This is from the e1705 site

Like CC and USAF said, it is an express card. There are some express cards on the market, but not as many as PC Cards. That should be changing within this next year since so many laptops are moving to express cards.
