Are all the USB ports on the e1705 powered? I should receive my new e1705 today and wanted to understand where the powered vs unpowered USB were.

    TIA!

They are powered...most USB ports are powered, however they do not supply much electricity. Some devices require more power than the USB ports can supply--in this case you will need an AC adapter, fortunately the peripheral that need the extra juice almost always come with their own adapters. This is why USB hubs often come with their own adapter: one powered port cannot supply sufficient juice to the ports on the hub.
