I just finished reformatting and installing all the drivers on my new E1705. When I look in system information, it says I have 1,024MB of Total Physical Memory. However, it says I only have 495.43MB of Available Physical memory. Is this normal or is there something I have to do in order to access the rest of the memory?

Your system will take up a certain amount of memory and all the other processes you have running will take up memory (browsers, antivirus, etc.). The physical memory is how much you have installed and the available is how much is left after all your currently running processes are accounted for. Available memory will fluctuate depending on what you have running. In order to have more memory available, you need to run less stuff, but you'll never get to 100%.
