Whenever I turn off my computer and turn it on, my resolution is set at 640X800, which moves all my icons around and re-arranges my quick launch. This has become extremely aggravating. Is there a fix for this?

The proper way to uninstall your driver is to Uninstall it through Add/Remove Programs and then reboot. Then you go into Safe Mode and run this program called Driver Cleaner Pro. It will remove the registry for the uninstalled driver. You'll have to reboot after it is done. After that, you can install the new driver.

OK, I'll try reinstalling the driver. It looks right on the welcome screen, then upon logon it looks ok for 2 seconds, then the screen goes blank, and when it comes back it's at 640X800.

That definitely sounds like a video driver issue. What driver are you using?

I uninstalled the old ones, and reinstalled the ones from nvidia and it works. Thanks! I was just using the drivers it came with.
