Hey everyone,
I purchased an E1705 about a month and a half ago. Now I'm interested in buying a docking station for it. I've been looking at the "Kensington Notebook Expansion Dock with Stand, Adjustable Base 60702." I've been unable to tell if it supports the 17-inch E1705 or not, as no website or rewiew confirms it is able to or says it is too large.
Does anyone own one and use it on the E1705?
Thanks!

Yes, I'll be buying from Dell. Classes start in two weeks, and I move in in a week, so I was hoping to verify and order today so I could have it for move in.
I suppose I could just order and hope it works. If not, I'll just rely on the warranty. Thanks.

Why? In the olden days laptops had small harddrives and didn't have wireless networking. I'd say, these days, the only "docking" you need to do is to plug in the power connector. Consider buying an extra power adapter, so you don't have to haul that around so much.

yea whats the point does it just save you having to plug in a few cords rather than drop the laptop in or are there other features??
