It seems that a war against True Life has been declared. Is WSUXGA w/true life a headache inducing waste of money? or Is it truely a must have for gamers and video freaks alike? What would you rather have in your E1705?

The dot pitch is similar to that of a 1400x1050 15 inch 4x3 lcd. The picture is just gorgeous. I haven't seen the WXGA, but the added resolution is worth it sight unseen.

You should have good vision though :)

Personally, I love WUXGA. It's great to be able to have two browser windows open tiled vertically at the same time. The extra real estate is great, I wouldn't buy another notebook without a WUXGA screen. The viewing angles are incredible with the WUXGA as well.

My new e1705 true life display is fantastic..and considerably noticeable between the $99 cheaper screen..Try looking on an absolute side angle and still be able to view the screen with the true life display, doesnt happen with the WXGA. Also the picture is fantastic when gamming and or movies..

Also I lifeguard and on my free time I browse the internet but the sun is beating on the computer and the biggest glare is created...with truelife, a significant difference is shown compared to the cheaper screen
