    ETA for my laptop?

    Hello everyone, My laptop (see sig) was just switched to 'shipped' yesterday, and I wondered when I might expect it to arrive. I live in New York, and according to the tracking #, my laptop is in Tennesee right now. :)

    Basically I want to know if DHL works on weekends or if I'll be waiting for an update until monday. Thanks if anyone has any ideas!

    Use your tracking number. They will tell you what day to expect it.

    DHL might deliver on Saturdays(not Sunday) but Dell does not offer that service. The service Dell offers is Monday through Friday delivery. What shipment method did you pay for, overnight? If so, if it shipped Friday, it will be delivered Monday.

    I would guess, and this is just a guess, that DHL does have people who move packages closer over the weekend, but as ppc said,they only deliver Monday through Friday for Dell.

    Once my laptop was shown as received in Tennessee, it got to Minneapolis within a day and that is with the standard 3-5 day.

    Doodman there is definitely truth to this as my Lojack moved 2 states today, it isn't out for delivery but it was moved right into my town for delivery on Monday.

    When I ordered my laptop I chose the free ground shipping. (3-5 days) I did check on DHL's website to see if there was an estimated delivery date, but there is not. However, there has been activity today, so I'm happy. :) Thanks everyone!
