    Hi

I have had a Dell 1520 inspiron for 2 years now.
I t was working well until lately when it became slower and slower, I formated it and reinstalled everything but the problem persisted
I did a Windows experience index and the memory operations and CPU scores are 2,8 when initially they where easily over 5 in both categories, it means a great degradation

Also when I read the event logger it says alot that graphic card is over used because I believe that the processor has stopped using the system in the way it was meant for

I am extremely preoccupied because I talk to DELL and they do nothing, they tell me to do test that take all day long because of the crappy processor and I can do anything about it because they don't help until the test are done

PLEASE HELP ME KNOW WHAT COULD BE WRONG and how can I make it right again.

    Thanks

You need to call Dell again and again, tell them the diagnostic test will not finish, you will need to send the Laptop to them for assessment and repair. They will do this its just not the first thing they try.

You need to be calm and nice and clear. It is not working so get them to take it and fix it.

I cant tell you its the CPU it could be the graphics card, both need to be working together for the CPU score to be high.

    Good Luck.

    Do you have warrenty?

You could try to update your BIOS.
Check your ram, make sure it's good.

Maybe your notebook is overheating, check the temps.

First thing I would suggest is when booting your computer, press the Fn button at the same time as the power button to launch the boot diagnostics. This will test your RAM, CPU, display, etc to ensure there are no errors.
