I have updated all my audio and video drivers and when I play a game my audio is great with the subwoofer, but when I play a movie it has very bad audio. It began with media center, then media player, and finally power dvd. What should I do?
I'm sure it has nothing to do with the storm.gen virus. But it's off my pc now.

What do you mean by "very bad"? Is the sound full of static, or is it just not very loud or bass-heavy?
-
full of static. I'm on the road and need help!
-
What kind of movies? From a DVD or Blu-Ray disk, or a downloaded/ripped video file?
-
dvd. It used to work and went bad, then worked again, and here we are...
-
What media player are you using?
-
powerdvd. What can i do?
-
Try using Windows Media Center. I've never had any issues playing DVD movies with it.
-
Media center does not know that there is a dvd in my pc.
-
That sounds like it could be an issue with your DVD drive, then. I know for a fact Windows Media Center plays DVD movies right out of the box.

Can someone actually suggest something?
