I keep getting an error message everytime i shutdown or restart my laptop. The error message said "0x00407ed6 reference memory,0x00000008 could not be found, terminate program press ok" Any ideas what it means? I dunno if this will help but i think i got this message after i updated my graphics driver- version 91.48 for my go 7900 gs.

Go back to the dell drivers to see if that fixes it.
