    Anyone out there order one of these? Has your shipped? if so, when?
    I was told there were delays with the lojack some time ago. I'd love to hear your experiences -- mine isn't so good so far! (and this is my fourth laptop order from Dell, and the FIRST with these issues).

    Spoke to a CSR, the delay is due to the Glass. The lojack will ship seperately.

    Thanks for the info! The glass? Not sure what that is? the screen? If I got anitglare, does that count? (sorry for my ignorance on this)

    i got antiglare too and my case manager emailed me saying there's a glass (screen) shortage

    1420s are delayed because of the lcds and the 1520s are delayed because of the colored lids.

    When did you order your brown 1520? I ordered an almost identical system on 7/24. Original est ship date was 8/7 -- now I'm told 8/28. I've heard of people who ordered several weeks ahead of me with an ESD of 8/28 -- but they didn't order brown which supposedly has a shorter delay than most colors. What makes me angry is that I went to the Dell website this morning and configd a brown 1520-identical to my order-shows an ESD of 8/30. Do they really think that or do they just not want to push it out any more for fear people wont order???
