    Estimated vs Actual Ship Date for D630

    I'm frustrated with my wait time for the D630. (Part of my frustration comes from the 20 day delay for a Thinkpad T61 that I ordered & canceled). I'm hoping the D630 owners can tell me how long it took to get your computers. I ordered mine on 5/30 with an ESD of 6/18. I've read other posts that Dell normally ships faster than their ESD. I was hoping that this would be the case for me. Are there any other people waiting for their D630? And if so, how long have you been waiting? Thanks in advance for your help!

    I ordered mine on 6/12 and its estimated ship is 7/14..

    I recently ordered my Dell XPS M1210 on 6/9 it will be delivered on 6/18 or 6/19 per the DHL tracking number.

    I ordered my D630 on 5/21 with a ship date of 6/13 and I recieved my D630 on 6/13

    Note: My configuration has the intergrated X3100

    There is a delay on all D630's with dedicated graphics. It's about 20 days.

    If that's not the issue, well... you were told the est. ship date up front. If that's not good enough for you, don't buy from Dell.

    At least they don't lie to you about it.

    I ordered mine on 6/14, est. ship date was 6/21 but it has shipped as of today! (6/16)

    I ordered a 630 with dedicated graphics. I placed the order on the first day it was available. Initially it stated that the estimated ship date would be 7/23 (which is what is on the invoice), However, if you try to configure one now it indicates 7/7 as the estimated ship date. Hopefully, since I ordered mine early, It will ship sooner than the new estimate.

    For what its worth, computers that I have ordered in the past have arrived before their estimated ship date... I am hoping that is the case with the newest purchase. I actually need this one. My old Inspiron 6000 is on its last leg.

    Yeah ordered mine 6/13/2007 and est. ship date is 7/15/2007 with 128MB NVIDIA Quadro

    oh, nice! i didn't realize that now the date is 7/7.
    I also ordered on the first or second day that the dedicated graphics was available.

    When i check the status, it still says "Est. Ship Date: 7/12/2007"
    but i'm sure (hopefully) that dell will ship ours before they ship the computers that were ordered later.
