Hello, we had a hard drive go bad on our Inspiron 15 Notebook. Dell replaced the hard drive with a new one which was preloaded with the operating system and etc.

All devices are recognized except the ethernet and internet adapters (so we can't connect to the internet by cable or by wireless).

I tried installing the drivers from support.dell.com but either I installed them wrong or they're not working because the laptop still can't find the drivers even when I try to update the drivers and point either at whole system (including subfolders) or point directly at the folders where I installed the drivers.

These are the driver selections which show up under "network" on support.dell.com for our laptop. I assume the realtek driver is the one needed for the ethernet adapter, but which wireless driver? Any idea what I might be doing wrong that I can't get these drivers to install?

Atheros mini card = Dell WLAN card, probably the 1501, most low end 15R come with that.
