After doing a few chat and emails with Dell, and calling, apparently our order was canceled because they were unable to verify some info, mainly our phone #.

We've had quite a few phone calls from 800 numbers this week, and we never answer them. A lady in the verification dept told me she's sorry we don't answer those calls, but until the account holder (another family member) calls in and verifies our number, the order is canceled.

Well that's fine and dandy, but the notebook I ordered (1520) looks like the estimated ship dates is getting worse and worse, so before we waste any more time I asked her if we have to wait forever to get the laptop, she said once the verification is done, they resubmit the order exactly like it was (counting the $300 coupon AND the $150 gift card).

She said they expedite the shipping, so we won't have to wait. Jan 23rd was ESD on a 1520 I built on dell.com earlier

Has anyone ever had this verification info and it work out like they're saying it will ?

    thanks
