    I've heard people saying that they will soon add in the new monevina chip sets, and I've also heard wimax.

    Is it possible that the m1330 will soon receive a new video card, that would be the only thing I would be willing to wait for. The LG p300 (13.3) has a 8600gt in it, and that laptop is even smaller than the m1330.

    Anyways I would like to here everyone's expectations for what Dell will change in the M1330 in, lets say, the next 4 months.

    Well, the P300 is able to fit the 8600GT in its tiny chassis because it doesn't include an internal dvd drive (but it comes with a really stylish external one unlike the macbook air). I think it's definitely possible for the m1330 to get the geforce 9 series soon as many manufacturers are already starting to put those in their laptops. However, I think Dell might wait for Monevina and just do a completely refresh (specs wise, probably won't be a style change) on the XPS line. On the other hand, Monevina is pretty far away (late May/June) so....not too sure.

    Sorry, didn't hear anything about WiMax.

    Any other thoughts?

    so we think just spec change, not form factor?

    1330 -> 1335/1340 like the 1520 -> 1525?

    I'm guessing it will be a spec change in late May or June. They'll definitely move to Montevina, the new Nvidia 9 series equivalent to the 8300, and maybe extra wireless stuff like Wireless USB and possibly GPS (which the larger Latitude E models will have as an option).

    I think you mean the 9 series equiv. of the 8400, not 8300 :D. But yea, I think it will most likely be a specs refresh and no a styling change. I doubt there'll be wireless USB just yet and definitely not GPS for the m1330. Probably only the E series will have the GPS option for now.

    wireless usb is already an option for the m1330.
    im assuming the 9 series is suppose to be better than the 8400

    I believe Wimax is an inherent feature of the Montevina (Centrino 2) platform specification.

    I hope to see a Blu-Ray player/burner now that the format debacle is over. The HDMI output to an external television set at present is a little bit redundant on the M1330 without this drive. I think by association, the Blu-Ray video processing would need the '9 Series' equivalent of the 8600 card you reference from the LG.

    A WXGA+ LED screen option is also a possibility at this stage.

    i don't think Blu-ray is coming... wasn't it supposed to have "shortly after launch"?? that's what the 1530's for.

    wireless USB is only an option in some countries. the UK isn't one of them :(

    montevina? tick.

    WXGA+ um... don't think so. does anyone HONESTLY want a higher resolution for a 13" screen? i think 1280x800's perfect.

    Well, for those people who are used to using a WUXGA on a 15.4", they might want a WXGA+ on a 13" rather than the standard WXGA.
