Ordered by XPS 1530 on Monday, the 15th. Shipping date was to be on 9/30. With 3-5 days shipping method.....it was to be delivered 10/3 or so...

I'm really chomping at the bit to get this laptop....

Called customer service this morning and the rep said it was in 'boxing/testing" and said I would receive it by the end of next week....9/26...

    wow, is this for real?

I assume they are going to overnite it? if this is so...that's awesome!!

Yes, it is for real...Dell usually over-projects the ESD... ;) :)

Call back and get confirmation by e-mail w/a case number stating they are going to overnight it you! ;) :) Better to always have documentation! ;) :)

(They bumped me to overnight, and sent me the e-mail with case number, and info) ;) :)

Congrat's on the early arrival BTW ;) :)

    Cin ;) :)

What did you say on the phone by the way? I want to ring and get them to do that to mine. Been waiting for ages! (read my signature)
