Because my Vostro 1500 goes back because of bad displays, i am interested - because of re-orientation - are the owners of the following notebooks contented
    Inspiron 1720
    Vostro 1700
    Precision M90
    Precision M6300

    with

    WUXGA (1920x1200) display

    or also

    WXGA + (1440x900)

with brightness, point of view stability, colours etc.!
And above all, whether is there a problem analogously grainy Efekt with the WXGA + in the Inspiron 1520 / Vostro 1500?

    Many thanks for the attention

    :)

I have an Inspiron 1720 with WUXGA 19x12 Truelife screen.

Brightness, color, contrast, sharpness are all good.

I have had zero issues with my laptop (only had it 2 months now).

I got my refurb 1720 two days ago. It has a WXGA+ screen. Looks really good and bright. It is lot brighter than any dell used so far and is also brighter than my current HP 6500t.

Color reporduction, vertical viewing angle seems good also.

I have a 1720 with 1920x1200 display and am quite happy with it. The screen is made by Samsung and I can't see any reason to send it back.

i have an m90. its great its fast.. graphic card is great (quadro 3500) plays almost any games at high resolution.. its very stable. a solid build.. all though the screen has a little light leakage at the bottem but since its a business laptop dell will swap it out as long as u have warranty. the screen is very sharp its the WUXGA. its perfect for this 17inch laptop. and be sure to ALWAYS get GOLD TECH SUPPORT... NO MATTER WHAT ITS MANDATORY :)
