I know this will sound stupid but try to follow me.

I bought 2 laptops: One before the Vista Upgrade period and one during. They are virtually identical Core 2 Duo systems. Is it possible to put Vista on the other earlier system and not on the one that was under the upgrade period?

Also, both systems came with Media Center which is 32bit and both are built on 64bit architecture. Is the express Vista upgrade going to be 32bit or do I have the option of getting the 64bit? After all I got the laptops for the 64bit and it seems that I should have the option of choosing 64bit.

    Any thoughts?
