    Hi

I had bought a Dell Inspiron 6400 in 2006, Now I bought a Express card remote. The remote is not working with my laptop. I tried to use it in my friends laptop (Inspiron 1525)
Can any one please let me know, if there are any drivers, i need to install, and any additional things i need to do in the settings, so that the remote works.

    Thanks and regrds

I don't think that laptop is compatible, you need an IR port to use the remote.

Not that I know of. Not unless you buy a USB IR receiver.
