    Extend warrnty worth this price?

    Hey all. my warranty for my xps studio 1645 expires in a couple days and a dell rep in chat told me that my extension for my warranty will cost me $488.81 for 1 year. Am i the only one thinking this is crazy? I see so many other people paying a lot less for the same warranty :/

    ^^Call back or hop on Dell chat & "shop" Rep's for the best pricing. That is, a lot of money for a 1 year warranty.

    If you feel your not getting a good price from one rep, be polite and say "thank you, but that is to much for me", or "I will have to ponder this over", or "is that the best you can do for me". Be firm but polite.

    You could also say "I am ready to purchase the extended warranty today, if you can come up with reasonable pricing". Sometimes, you can get incentive in the way of gift cards, promos to purchase also.
