Does anybody know exactly what coverage is included in part number
902-5690? I thought I had full technical support, but they billed me $129 to troubleshoot and clean an issue being caused by virus and other malware.
I know the new extended warranties do not cover anything to do with malware, but I thought this part did.

    Is this what it says?

1 1 902-5690 *Type 15- Third Party At Home Service with Nights and Week EA 0.00 0.00
ends, 24x7 Technical Support, Initial Year

If so, that means that Dell will send a Tech to your house to replace any defective parts, but that does not cover virus and other malware removal.

Though, frankly, you could have done cleaned the malware yourself easily by reformatting the hard drive and reinstalling the OS.

Uh, cleaning malware/adware from a computer really isn't that hard. There are tons of FAQs and hot-tos on just exactly how to do that.
