This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     What are the limitations when using a laptop with an external LCD? I would like to have a fairly decent LCD for when I'm using the computer at home, maybe a 24". It appears these have resolutions of 1920x1200. I won't be doing any gaming with it, just photo editing, movie editing, web browsing, basic office applications and watching DVD's. Will the dedicated graphics have the proper outputs to hook up to a screen like that? If so will it have problems with that resolution? If not will the dedicated card on the D630 be good enough?
