I bought the m1330 a couple of months back. I had an issue with the charging whine, so the technician came over. He replaced the motherboard and battery, and the whine still occured, just as before. I dont know what to do now. I got a complementary 9 cell, and it appears the whine on that is worse than the 6 cell. Has anyone here, who had/has the charging whine managed to overcome this issue manually through some sort of update, or any other means to make this laptop be silent when charging? I cant live with it any more, its a shame since the rest of the laptop is perfect.

You should be thanking god you only hear the whine when you are charging.

Imagine hearing it whenever the system is on.
