Dell has posted a firmware update for Seagate HDs to fix the audible clicking noise.

Go to the drivers page for the Studio 1537 and look under SATA drives. The download and the instructions are there.

It appears that this update is also for many Dell models.

    For Seagate ST980411ASG, ST9120411ASG, ST9160411ASG, ST9200423ASG, ST9250421ASG, or, ST9320421ASG.

I have Western Digital with "clicking noise"
    Studio 1535...
It will be nice if Dell posted for Western Digital too

I have a Western Digital and I have no clicking. So, it isn't a normal operation noise.
