I'd say about a month ago I started to get a ridiculous amount of fan noise.

I travel to-and-fro with my notebook every once in a while but this only a few times a month. I took my notebook apart completely the other day and checked the spring in the fan and got rid of all the dust I could see with a compressed air can but I'm still getting ridiculous amounts of noise.

It sounds like the fan blades are hitting the body of the fan enclosure, but it seems like the springs and how it's built would prevent this. I even blew compressed air into the fan a few times to see if it was hitting anything but it was moving very smoothly and without any noise.

    Any advice?
