    Hello friends,
Like you from the first day I had my hands on my Dell Studio 1535 I have the problem with sensitive buttons, eject the cd light stays lit, the light stays lit lower volume and not permitted me to walk up or down the volume or when the team suspended him again and I fastened to light one of those lights, etc etc.
I changed the panel of sensitive buttons 2 times, thinking the problem was that but never fix the problem.
A few days ago, I got in touch with Dell support chat with another case until we touch the subject of this sensitive issue with the buttons. The person who treated me gave me an ISO file for burning to a CD and install it. Do not fix the problem, but now they lit up more often!
I communicate with Dell again and they said they had left a piece of the panel date sensitive buttons that just corrected this problem. They made the change and so far, ah last approx. one week and again eh no longer have the problem no longer alone are lit panel lights and everything is perfect.
    I recommend it NEXT:

    1. Communicate with Dell technical support and to give them the file that gave me my.
    2. If this did not fix, to verify the model of the part of the panel of sensitive buttons that have their laptops and if not the date, requesting the change, this is the updated model of the piece #M950N, I had this model #F962C

Any questions you have, let me know.

    I hope have helped.

I was just sent a M950N touch sensitive media panel, it's still sitting in the box - I'll post here when I take the current panel off and compare the model number, maybe we've got something in common lol.

The updated firmware sure did the trick for me... I installed it a couple of months ago when it was "released" and I haven't had a stuck media panel button since. Not a single one. It's been 100% perfect ever since.

Anyway, glad its fixed for you at least.

Eric, haven't seen you around in a while. :)

Yeah, the X0D firmware kept my Studio 1535's media panel in good working order for the rest of its short life before being replaced by the 1555.
