If the build quality of the Studio 15 is anything to go by I would cancel that order. If you still want a Dell I recommend specing up an Inspiron 1720. Trust me on this…..it’s a much better constructed machine.

 

Red , sorry you got a bad deal, I truly am , but I have read reviews about this and really seem to get good ones! If mine isn't up to par I will deal with it then! I appreciate you thoughts on the matter!

 

Yes I did get a bad deal. But leaving aside cosmetic damage on the laptop I received, the Studio 17 is a lesser laptop in terms of construction to the 1720.

 

I simply can't wait for my Studio 15 to arrive. When did you order yours and what is the estimated arrival date? I'd like to compare parts to shipping dates. Mine are in my sig.

Just so you know, I ordered my studio 17 on 7/9 and it got delivered on 7/18. I hope you get the same fast turn around time!

You both are so lucky. Maybe it's because I have the 9-cell battery, but I thought it was the 6-cell that was causing delay issues.

 

Lotta, I don't know, does seem like a big difference..Maybe you will get lucky and get it sooner!
