    FN + F1 (hibernate) does not work.

    Hi, I just received my laptop a few hours ago, and I noticed hibernating using F1 + Fn does not work. stand by works, brightness up and down works, and sound options work, but i can't hibernate using the hotkey. It works through shut down however.

    same problem here

    my hibernate (fn +f1) and my open disc (fn+f10) both don't work, anyone know why?

    i'm using a brand new dell 6400

    Yeah, that, or for some reason you might not have hibernation enabled, check in your power management options.

    hey yeah i just tried hibernate and open disc dont work i have a new 6400 also?

    as drumfu said, enable quickset. I had this problem after i reformatted--installing quickset fixed this.
