I have noticed the past few days my fan is running more than normal. I am wondering now do I need a repaste on my CPU heatsink.

I would first attempt to blow out the heatsink with some compressed air, usually that's what clogs up first. Also could be windows updates or some other task running in the background so make sure to check task manager.

Yes, I will blow out the heatsink, but it was mobile connect doing the fan spinning. Never had that happen before but the past few days, it was making the bluetooth system run the cpu at 90 percent all the time.

if ithe fans are only revving up with mobile connect, its likely the app and not your machine. afaik, mobile connect has the same functionality as the windows phone app. maybe try switching to that to test if you get better thermals when using it.

Yes, It's the M.C. app. I cannot use windows phone app right now as I am still using my iPhone. That's the last thing to go in my apple purge. Once I get my new android device, I will be able to move to the windows Phone app. Until then I will have to send feedback to them about it and see if they provide an update to stop it. I has only been happening for the past week or so before I posted the original thread.

Ok, I am going to revisit this because of the fact I ripped a 3 or 4 min 1080 video in photos and it turned into a jet engine. i am thinking I am going to repaste using kryonaut. I watched some videos and most all of them saw a 7deg drop or more after using kryonaut which was the best by far of all pastes.
Fan is running more than usual. Do I need a repaste?
