    Hello,
I've had my e1705 for a year now. I notice lately, the last couple months or so, the fans seem to come on far more often then before.
When I first got it, it was completely silent, only fans coming on occasionally, and during gaming. Besides using newer drivers, I can't think of anything it might be.
I also recently vacuumed out the vents cause they were kinda full of dust. Any ideas?

If you are confident enough, take out the heatsink and spray it with a can of air.

Yeah that could very well be it. :) I'll give it a try in the next couple days.
    Thanks. :)

BIOS updates can change the behaviour of the thermal systems (by design, not by mistake ;) )
