That would be fast! It took 8 days for my 6000 to arrive. I got the 1680x1050 screen and there's no dead pixels or leaks on it. It looks great. I did get a funky keyboard though. They are sending a replacement but it's backordered and wont be shipped until around the 29th, they say. grr

I ordered a 700m ($750 off $1500) 8/12 as well, however I only recieved the UPS tracking number today and it says that its expected to be delivered to NY on the 22nd. It left Nashville today. I really want to get it as soon as possible so that I have ample time to get used to it in time for school.

You should understand that forums like this can blow things way out of proportion. Things such as light leakage and sparkles are really minimal and non-issues. What are considered normal laptop conditions are overexposed and overexaggerated. Then propective buyers read this garbage and start complaining as soon as they get their laptops. Then the process rolls on and on...

Don't worry. You will love your purchase. Have fun!
