I went to the online chat today, because I got tired of listening to that lady too haha. And, I think the rep I was talking too was trying to hint that my order should come in before the end of May. I ordered on 05/18... ESD is 06/03. I actually didn't understand that he was hinting that, and for legal reasons he is only allowed to say we offer "worst case ship dates." Which means according to him that the order should ship sooner than expected unless there is a delay caused by extreme weather. I kept trying to get more out of him, but finally he was like "I was trying to help you, while still being 'in the land of me keeping my job', but now I'll have to tell you to refer to the date provided online on your order status." So... I was like haha okay thanks for you help, have a good day. He says, "It was a pleasure chatting with you =)." SOoo I'm guessing I should get it earlier??

 

So you have 320GB and I have 250GB, so that's like $50 more, I have the LED LCD also if you didn't read it in my sig, blue color is $25 more, 9 cell battery is $169, but its gonna stick out and make it not as portable, and you have 2 years and I have one, if you add that all up its $244 more plus 1 extra year of warranty, and you paid almost $600 more.. I was trying to convince you to cancel it if you still can and get a better deal but I guess you dont care..

I do care about the price difference, and trust me, at the time I tried every combo I could to figure out the best price to get what I wanted.

Lets see here, the 2 extra gigs of ram = 100, the extra year warranty is 100 + drop damage might have been a bit (those 2 were part of the package deal).

One other thing, are you stating Tax and shipping? Because if we are not including those, then I paid only 1693.

 

It's EPP. Mine was through a college. Ordered, built, at my door in less than 5 days. My best friend, nearly same system, 3 weeks, not through EPP. Case solved.

I got only 2GB because Im planning to buy a 4GB Kit off newegg or fry's for like $50.. So I guess my laptop is $1340 after the RAM.. I thought you haven't recieved your laptop that's why I wanna convince you to cancel it but its okay, you got 2 years of accidental which is expensive and about a year and a half from now we can both drop our laptop off a two story building and you'll be fine and I'll be screwed lol

Thats sickk.. tax in Tennessee is like $112 dollars, so I had mine ship in Georgia to my friend's place which was like $73 dollars. I guess it doesn't make a difference, because I'll be spending money on gas to go pick it up... haha. Just did it to make my parents to seem like it's cheaper.

Oh, and my system was $1,291.07 with tax. I paid an extra $39.99 for 2nd business day shipping with I paid for myself, because I didn't want the standard 3-5 ground shipping. The reason for that is, I'm going back to summer school in June, and I need to have the laptop anyway possible before the end of May... which would save me a lot of trouble.

 

Well then be thankful for being in the states. We don't get that kind of deals in Canada if at all.

And like I said, a couple hundred bucks really don't make that big of a difference to me.

I'm also not in every thread posting the price I paid when others are excited about ordering a new system. They don't need you all up in the thread trying to show them up or kill their buzz. Do you think people like hearing how you paid $600 less for the same system or $250 or whatever it is? Most people aren't going to be able to get your deal so back off.
