OK, the original shipping date for my m17x r3 from dell was 9/9/11. They changed it to 8/31, which is today.

However, the status is stuck at:
8/28, shipment information sent to FedEx.

I have FedEx Home Delivery-Indirect (couldn't resist free...)

Is there a chance in hell that I would get my laptop by the end of today or even tomorrow? If not, when?

I first thought it might be because of Hurricane Irene, but the shipment information was sent on 28th and they shoulda recovered by now...

Where are they shipping from, anyways? Why do they have to change the date if they are not gonna send the product quickly?

Your laptop hasn't even shipped yet and depending on the model it will arrive from over seas and land in Nashville, TN then from there it will head your direction

i need to worry about this when i order my alienware.

I gotta try and have it arrive just before the 28th for my bday.
    Anything before kinda ruins it.
