    Ok,

My little arrow key always out of no where just keeps having that timeglass thing just appear. Every 5-10 seconds it comes up next to my cursor even if im not doing anything...Does anyone know why it does that?

Also I ordered a 60 GB hard drive but I have 2 drives one thats 40 and then a backup one thats 20...is that correct? Also should I delete norton ghost or not?

    Thank you I appreciate it

You have one 60GB drive that has been divided into two partitions. The 'backup' partition seems to be intended for use by Norton Ghost, as a place where Ghost can write images of the first partition. If you don't intend to use it for that, then you could install programs there or use it to hold downloaded files, or your MP3 collection, or whatever you like. Or you could use a tool like Partition Magic to delete it and then increase the size of the other partition to 60gb.

You have something running in the background and this will cause the hourglass. For me it was the Mcafee but it could be anything. Use the MSconfig utility and start turning things off at startup you will find it.

Or you could just reformat like lots of people on this board do. I just uninstalled Mcafee and used a different antivirus that wont bog my machine down.
