I got the M1530 and happy about the wxga+ LG screen, however the battery is disappointing. is it normal to start at %98 and last about 1 hr and half with wireless on and half bright screen,

Also, i know i read it somewhere, how do i get rid of those fingerprints on the screen and cover.
and how do ground the electricity so that i wouldnt get electricuted every once in a while..

ive never had the electricity problem thing, but i have both a 6 cell and a 9 cell battery. i get about 3.5 hours with wireless on and brightness all the way down and on power saver mode. i havent tested the 9cell yet. just check which current power plan you have. good luck

Get a 3 pronged plug or use a correctly wired outlet.

I don't have an M1530, but I've had batteries like that. People say not, but maybe it needs to be broken in (used for a few cycles). This usually works for me. After I charge and drain the battery a few times it is able to get a full charge and lasts longer. Also, if I charge, then disconnect the power then plug it in again, that sometimes helps to get it to a full charge.

Not sure if any of this applies here though...

mine has the same problem, so i was wondering the same thing. the first week i had it it was 100%, next week was 99%, third week is 98%. Sometimes if i let it drain then recharge it goes back to 100%, but it remains at 98% maximum for most of the time. Is the battery defective?

Interesting. Mine is plugged in and has had plenty of time to be charged, but it only says 99%.
