I just talked to a Dell CSR, and they informed me that my order was in "final assembly". I asked if that meant that it is in the US and they are packaging it and preparing it for shipping, and they said I was correct. They weren't very helpful though. Does anyone have any information regarding this? And do you think my order might ship out today?

most likely mine will roll out in the evening also.
Look, Dell charters an Air China cargo plane to bus the laptops to Tennessee or Texas or w/e a few days a week.
Mine went into boxing yesterday. Yours went into boxing Monday. That monday, was actually China's Tuesday.
On Tuesday, there are no flights out of Malaysia that take Dells cargo to the states. However, that happens on Wednesday.
Last night, our Tuesday night, was their Wednesday so I assume early morning a cargo plane left and has arrived at Texas, as you spoke with the CSR who said your laptop was in final preparations.
So if its being boxed today, it'll ship over night tonight. -
Great, thanks for the info!
One more thing: if I live much closer to Tennessee, would it be there? And also, if I have next business day shipping, would it be here tomorrow?
(And update your sig!!) -
