Don't you wanna wait for a coupon before ordering? Also do you really need a T9300? I would think T8300 would be enough... How much do you save if you drop the processor to T8300, Drop the Hard Drive to 250 GB and change the wireless card to INTEL N.

Edit: OK I just looked at the configuration and there is no T8300, I would "suggest" T8100 for processor, 250 GB Hdd and since there is no intel wireless option, stick with Dell 1505. As for Ram, I would leave that at 2GB and use the 50$ you save there to get 4GB from newegg for about that price. Rest all looks good to me.

Coupon would be great....But apparently Dell is being slow about things, reckon they'll have a coupon within the next week?

8100 processor is good? ok thanks

Is 250 GB HD enough? lol

    Thanks for your help! :)

Unless you are plannng on doing processor intensive tasks like video editing, dvd ripping etc and want all that done FAST then T9300 is good. But T8100 is also from the new Penryn family and thus runs cool. I have used the T8100 and it was awesome for my daily use browsing, word processing, light gaming, watching movies etc.

As for the HDD, that depends on what all you are going to store on it. So that you will have to decide whether you have or will have 320 GB worth of data to store... I would think 250 GB should be ok. With these 2 downgrades I think your system becomes very reasonably priced.

You could also hold out for a coupon and then max all the components.

If you got the coin, then you might as well pull the trigger. IF you are the type who would upgrade later however, I would save the money on the ram and HDD. You'll easily pay 50% less or more buying those on Newegg yourself. Probably run faster too.
