-
2 years!! Wow...
Could you give some benchmarks, if possible? -
I will try when I get it. I just ordered it an hour ago so it will be a while.
-
Congrats om your purchase!
-
Nice job. Seems quite a few are jumping on an M1210. nice..
-
Congrats, the wait was definately worth it. I know I waited months before I pulled the trigger.
-
Congrats on your purchase!
-
except for the 6 cell batt, we have the EXACT same config
i took 5 months to pull mine (trigger, that is) -
About the 6 cell: When looking at the configuration page it cost $99 to upgrade the primary battery from 6 cell to 9 cell. If you leave the primary battery configuration alone and put 9 cell for additional battery, it cost $129. So for only $30 more you get 9+6=15 cells whereas you would only get 9 cells. To me it was much smarter to do it this way.
-
lol ic. didn't see that u ordered an extra 9 cell.
mine came with the 9 cell by default anyways, so i'm not complaining
-
Ha, I did the exact same thing. Funny it's like that but hey... if it saves money, why not?
-
I have to say I am very impressed with my order. It has not even been 24 hours and its already in boxing!!!!
-
I have a question for you guys: How many RAM slots does the 1210 have?
-
Two slots..
-
Thats a bit of a let down because if you want to upgrade to 2 gb you have to buy two 1 gb sticks instead of one. I wish the included 1 gb took up only one slot but you cant have everything. Other than that its the perfect notebook for me.
-
Excellent choice! You will be very happy.
-
Hmm, I also ordered a M1210 yesterday (JULY 4), and it is already in Boxing. Does anyone know if Dell ever beats their estimated ship dates/delivery dates? I just want to know when to look out for my packages so my dogs don't get to them before I do!
-
The dell shipping dates are always very conservative. Mine says July 17-19. However, I am expecting it to come around the 13-14th.
-
Well I ordered an M1710 Tuesday, its shipping tomorrow (Thursday) When I first ordered it, it had an estimated ship date of July 13th. I think Dell is quite conservative on their shipping estimates for obvious reasons. -
Wow, so I guess I'll be getting my systems a lot sooner than I thought. Does anyone know how often they update that Order Tracking page? It seems like once per day. I'm also waiting for my XPS 400.
Finally!!!!!!
