    Hi Guys,

My e1405 finally arrived last week. After using it for entire one week im writing this review.
My first reaction on seeign it was..........amazinggggggggg!!!!!
Dell laptops are known to be ugly but not this one.....

The silver color with white borders is just amazing ...much much much better than those boring black colors everywhere......

    Now the usage..
I went for Core Duo 1.66 Ghz and 1 Gb Ram with DVD writer and 80gb harddisk and true life screen!!

I must say the truelife is jsut amazing..its so sharp and so clear resolution that afte working on that u wont feel like working on anything else..

    and speed ....damm fast!!

    dvd noise ....what's that??
laptop heat up?? -- what's that?? i didnt feel any!!!

battery life 4+ hours with 6 cell.

only issue i had with is the light leakage at bottom of screen.....
but that is only visible when u have black screen also more u set the brightness of the screen more u can notice it but only on black...

but u hardly work on max brightness so on reducing the brightness light leakage also gets reduced...

also there is no key backlight function...

i didnt feel the use of it till now but when there is no light in room then u would need it..

on the whole amazing laptop....i give it 9 on 10.

now can somebody tell me whether is it worth to get the screen replaced or they'll give me a even worse one....
