    So true. so far all the different color Studios I've seen on the forum look really nice. I can't wait until i get my Studio. Even if its only black, i really like the design of the Studio 15. ^^

    thanks everyone. The only thing I was wondering about was the noise the cd player makes? I put a cd in it to install my camera software on it and it was really loud. is that normal, this is my first laptop ever.

    im glad i wasnt the only one. id be mad if something was wrong and i waited so long for it. I think im scared to even put anything on it, and ill use my desktop to mess up and download stuff

    That Orange looks great. I almost got Orange, but stuck with Red. I think I would have been happy with either though.

    I had to install software on a friend's tangerine studio 15. It was a nice laptop.

    The power switch on the side of the laptop took me a minute though.

    I wanted a nice green but the only option they had was a lime coloured thing so I went with orange too on my s17. It's nice to have a slightly unusual colour.

    I got orange and upon opening the box me and the wife both agreed I should have picked another color. I think I should have picked green. But it is still a good looking laptop regardless. It just seem to look better in photos.

    No it isn't metallic, it looks so much better than any online pictures from Dell.

    Who cares? Usually when people buy stuff they tend to buy stuff that fits their preference and no worry about if it will fit preferences of others if they are going to sell it. Obviously people do like the Tangerine Orange or else Dell wouldn't still be selling it. The Tangerine Orange looks awesome.

    OMG I did not realize this....I guess I devalued my Mini 9 by ordering it in Red :eek: :rolleyes:

    Oh..so that must be the same for every S15 owner, whom ordered it in other color choices then the default black, eh???? :rolleyes:

    Laptops are like new cars..they devalue once driven off the lot.
    I don't think the lid color has anything to do with it! It could devalue because of the specs, the condition, alot of things.....*sigh*

    my color is ruby red.
    I asked for green apple (first), second for orange...no luck...
    Lucky (for me) the trader suggest me "red" and I'm very happy, because It is really nice color.
    And my notebook has very stylish look!

    If I was going to purchase the S15....Tangerine Orange...would be my color choice, it's a rather cool color! :D

    It appears so. Keep in mind that this thread started way back in the days of the Studio 1535/1537. The new 1555's are different in a lot of ways.

    Hopefully they give the Studio 17 a refresh; it's starting to feel a little stale compared to the new Studio 15 and 14z.
