    1. Order Processing
    2. Pre-Production
    3. Production Friday, August 03, 2007
    4. Delivery Preparation
    5. Dispatched

How long does build and testing usually take?
also what is weird is when i checked yesterday it says pre-production as of Friday 3rd August 2007, yet it now says Production as of Friday 3rd August, doesn't make any sense.

    ---

When a system order is released to manufacturing, the material availability is confirmed and all parts needed to complete the system are collected and matched with the system chassis.

An assembly team assembles the parts into a system. This team is responsible for the entire build of the system, which promotes accountability for quality, and pride of ownership.

The system then goes through to testing.

Systems are received into testing for Dell designed diagnostic testing and software download.

This includes 200+ titles available in Dell's software library, as well as proprietary and commercial packages, as requested by DellPlus Customers.

Upon successful completion of Testing & Quality Control, the system progresses to the delivery preparation phase

Problem is it was in pre-production as of Friday 3rd August 2007, so how can it be moved into building stage as of Friday 3rd August 2007 on 14th August 2007? Yesterday it was in Stage 2 pre-production.
