    Hi,
I have decided on the 1530...the thing is I might need to dual/triple boot...Vista (for DX10), XP (definitely, for CUDA) and suse 10.3(may be) ...so any issues with dual boot ?

    I wanted GDDR3 hence I am going for 1530 over 1520/1720...
I do mostly hardcore modeling/animation/graphics and the occasional game or two...I know all DX10 games would play pretty well on this hence I have to have Vista...

I am ordering within the next 24 hours and heres what I am going for.
    I am ordering from India.

I am really thinking about switching my 1520 for an XPS1530 too. I have similiar specs and e-value coupon that takes off $300 :)

If money is of no concern, then go for that config. Else get the T7500 (2.2GHz/800Mhz FSB, 4MB Cache) that extra 200MHz won’t make any difference. Also buy the default RAM configuration and upgrade later (because you can get a 2GB stick for around $40 from outside = $80 for 4GB !).

Yeah...even I think 2.4 won't give me too much of performance gain over 2.2 Ghz(it gives me bragging rights though :p)

I assume there should be no dual/triple boot issues...(I have previously dual booted all my computers)

    Thanks again !

Is this the coupon you are referring to ?

Upon clicking the link in the Dell Coupons Section of the site...I am redirected to Dell USA...so I assume I cannot use them coupons :(

EDIT:Also can I update to Norton Internet Security 2008 from NIS 2007 if I buy the 15 month subscription of NIS 2007 ?

One last thing...I DO GET the Vista Installation DVD right should I feel the need to do a Clean Install the moment it arrives ?

    Thanks anyways
