    Finally got my 1520....

    I finally got my 1520 delivered today. I won't get into my thoughts on DHL, but they left me truly unimpressed. The same cannot be said about the laptop. I was not really expecting much, but this thing smokes my 3 year desktop bigtime.

    Specs:

    2.2ghz
    2 Gig o' ram
    8600m GT
    80 gig 5400 (new one on the way from newegg) ;-)
    1440 X 900 and I'm a lucky one that got a LPLDF LCD. Woot!

    Now off to load the Hellgate London demo....

    Glad you're liking yours =). I'm also getting a 1520 with similar specs that should arrive in around a week. I just hope I get lucky w/ my screen like you did.

    Lucky u.. congrats.. I also received the 1520 I ordered today too and it is a SEC3157 wxga+ screen.. boo.

    I got the same specs and was lucky enough to get the LG panel. Too bad my speakers are bad and they have to send a tech to replace the mainboard. Other than that, I love the thing.
