    My 1520 has finally reached the boxing stage. It has been delayed once and I thought it would never get out of the boxing stage. Usually, how long is the boxing stage. Estimated ship date is the 3rd. Hopefully it will ship before then :)

    I was debating between black, blue, or green. I decided that those colors would probably delay the order(even though it was delayed anyway), I decided to go with simple black.

    Not necessarily vjm. I ordered on 26th and I am still in build stage. I think our specs are only a tad different (hdd and color). According to my buddy Syed Jaffari, my order should ship within the next 48 hours.

    So I guess there is a slight delay on the Ruby Red. Nothing compared to blue though.

    Whenever I talked to a Dell Customer Rep, she told me that she would assign me a Case Manager. The next day, Syed called me. And it has been great ever since (free next day shipping, $50 dollar coupon, free backpack, and expediting my order).

    If you go India with your Case Manager, you won't be sorry. I am so happy with Syed and I am considering naming my next son after him.

    BLACK rocks.. ordered on 29th and boxing stage on 31st.. Black is generally Made-To-Stock while colored laptop covers are made per orders, which ultimately delays their assembly process..
