After all the questions I had and the great opinions I found here at NotebookReview.com, I FINALLY made a decision and bought my first laptop - an Inspiron 6000. :dell: It should be here sometime this afternoon. (I'll be sitting around waiting for that doorbell all day)

I think I made the right choice...I certainly did as far as my wallet was concerned.

Thanks to everyone who had the patience to help me out. Just wanted to say that this has been the most useful and helpful forum I've ever joined.

You're going to love this thing... it's a "baller" laptop... be sure and get the CF snap-on, it looks great.
