Well I finally installed a new wireless card, so I don't have to use my usb wireless adapter. its working but there is something that I don't really like.... I only get 1 or 2 bars of signal (usb wireless: full signal) Average speed of wireless card 11Mbps (usb wireless: 54Mbps) what is wrong? did I do something wrong?

This is the card details: http://www0.shopping.com/xPF-Broadc...11g-B-G-MiniPCI-Internal-Wireless-Laptop-Card

Just a simple question, you did connect both antenna leads to the card, right?

If I have to get antenna.... how do I install it? I don't see any "place" in the card to hook it, plug it, install it....? I think the card for a desktop computer has antennas, but not this one

The antennas should be built into the laptop. What is the make and model?

Yup, usually the antennas have already been installed inside the laptop LCD frame and there are wires from the antennas which run to the place where the wireless card should be installed.

If not, you can buy these kinds of antennas cheaply from eBay, but installing them is another challenge of its own, which might not feasible for many of us since it's hard to install them as the best place for them is on top of the LCD frame. Putting them anywhere else might not give best wireless signal reception.

Its a dell inspiron b120 but it didn't come with wireless card from the factory. But when i ordered the wireless card the seller told me that the card has built in antennas, so i know now thats not true.

The even older Inspiron 500m and 600m both had antennas installed even if you did not purchase them with a wireless card. Subsequently, I don't know why they wouldn't do the same with the B120 and B130.

Look around the miniPCI slot for an antenna connector?

Otherwise, Dell provides instructions on replacing (or in your case, installing) the antenna:

The wireless card has connectors (where the antenna wireless should connect to) but there is no antenna wires because I had to take my whole laptop apart when I replaced the cooling fan and I didn't see any wires. So I know for sure I have to install them. I just have to wait now, its gonna take like 4 days before I get them on the mail :)
