So I was on the phone for hours and they offered me a refund. Should I take it? It is really hard to get a laptop for this price, but there's little things here and there that makes Dell so ****ty. For ex, I wanted to use my laptop as a speaker with line-in and i have to go research for an hour and change registry. For ex, their drivers are ****ty as ever, (QuickSet). Cheap Plastic.. Lack of useful ports on computer, for ex. HDMI.

I just ordered a T61p for the same price with a CPP discount publicly available. Dell isn't the only option at this price range.

No, Dell is not the only option. You should have researched the specifics of the computer before you bough it. You know, what ports it has, the available audio options, etc.
I don't know about you but buying a laptop is, in my mind, a big purchase and you need to go over what you options you are looking for in a laptop before deciding because you are stuck with technolog that has limited upgrade options.
Dell's warranty support is second to none which is one of the biggest deciding factors for me. If you are not happy, then by all means take the refund! -
I am about to buy an ASUS, time to join the ASUS forum.
Finally, they offered me full refund.
