I have also noticed that the fingerprint reader software is slowing down my machine sometimes also. Im not sure if it is with the 64 bit vista program or what but the process for the fingerprint tray program sometimes memory leaks and keeps incrementing its memory used. I have seen mine balloon up to 200000+k of memory. I need to test it out more but this seemed to happen when my steam client was running. Anybody else have this problem or know a fix??

My machine is an XPS m1530.
