    Anyone have any experience with that sort of work? My sound doesn't work on my laptop unless I plug in external speakers or a headset. I'm thinking the jack is broken, making the laptop think something is always plugged in.

    Maybe if I took some detailed pictures, someone might be able to point out what the problem is?
